Specials Schedule

Our Specials schedule is on a rotation this year. It is a six day rotation with Technology being a new special for students this year! This is our rotation:

Day 1 - Music
Day 2 - Art
Day 3 - Physical Education
Day 4 - Music
Day 5 - Technology
Day 6 - Physical Education

So if for some reason school would be cancelled we would continue with our schedule the very next school day. To help keep confusion low, we have been writing in our planners what the special is the next day so that we are all prepared.

MEAP Testing!

We have survived our first two days of the MEAP test! We are finished with the Reading MEAP. Next Tuesday, October 16th we will conquer the Math MEAP. Please make sure that your child gets enough rest on Monday night. Don't forget to tell them that they will do great!

Welcome to Third Grade!

I can't believe we have already completed our first two weeks together! Thank you for sharing your children with me this year. What an amazing two weeks it has been. Hopefully by now everyone is getting into the routine of completing their homework then getting their planners signed.

Please make sure to check your child's planner and homework each night. Even though they are third graders they still need your help with the routines. When you check their planner and homework it sends your child the message that they are important and what they are doing is important too! This is how good work habits get started and formed, so keep up the good work students and parents!
